Outgoing Administrative Staff

Erasmus+ KA131

How it works

How it works

  • Acceptance by the foreign university

The Erasmus+ programme for PAS mobility KA131 allows PAS mobility for training purposes in any university or institution in the EU and partner countries. It is not required that a previous mobility agreement has been established between both institutions. It is necessary, however, to agree on the training plan (traineeship agreement) to be carried out within the framework of the stay in the foreign institution.

This means that it is necessary to find an institution that is willing to accept this mobility and to agree on the training to be carried out with the relevant department(s), office(s), unit(s) etc.. Very often the international relations offices of the host universities do not have the competence to assign this type of activities to foreign administrative and service staff, but they may be able to give you guidance on possible international staff weeks, in the framework of which the training can be done, or on the faculty or departments to which you can address your request.

  • Duration and financing

The minimum duration is one week, which is considered to be the equivalent of five full working days.
Shorter stays are allowed if justified. This programme finances PAS stays and travel, according to the charts published when each call is opened. Previous information can be used as a reference, but there may be changes from one academic year to the next.

  • Mobility must be for training purposes

Mobility must necessarily involve the development of a training programme in the foreign institution. The aim of the training programme is to exchange good practices and experiences, and thus to improve the competences and skills required by the job positions. The Erasmus grant does not finance institutional, protocol or work-related visits, but is designed to enhance the professional development of employees.

So, if you are interested in doing a training stay, you should have a university that can host you for a week and train you in the specific field of your work or to participate in an international staff week that may be relevant to develop your skills and competences in relation to your job.

Please note that the agreement must have been signed in the previous academic year. If this is not the case, you will be required to plan your teaching for the following academic year in order to be covered by the funding offered by the Erasmus+ programme.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that Erasmus+ mobility also allows you to invite students from foreign universities to study at our faculty.
