Health insurance
It is compulsory for visiting professors or research staff to take out insurance at their own expense.
Visiting faculty or research staff must take out, at their own expense, accident insurance that includes coverage in the event of repatriation. The insurance must cover the entire period of the stay at the University of Barcelona.
The UB accepts no responsibility or liability for expenses in the event of an accident and the need for repatriation of visiting lecturers or research staff.
