How to apply for a temporary stay at the UB
This is a summary of the steps you need to follow in order to undertake a temporary stay at the UB.
- Find out from your home university whether there is a student exchange agreement with the University of Barcelona: Erasmus+, Global UB Mobility, Global Faculty UB, specific programs with the EUA, Coimbra Group, etc.
- If you do not have the opportunity to participate in an exchange programme, you can apply for a temporary stay on an individual basis.
- Be selected or authorized by your university to participate in the corresponding exchange programme for a temporary stay at the UB.
- Fill in and send the online application form to the UB.
- Send your online application form, signed and stamped by a member of staff at your university, together with the corresponding documentation, to the Head of International Mobility at the UB faculty or school where you wish to study.
- Once you have been accepted, you will need to arrange your accommodation in Barcelona and take out medical, accident and repatriation insurance to cover your entire stay.
- Once you have arrived in Barcelona, go to the UB centre where you will be studying to formalize your arrival at the UB.
- You must register for your courses at the secretary's office of your UB faculty or school.
