Services for temporary stay students

By presenting your temporary stay student card, you will have access to the computer rooms at the UB center where you will study.

You will have access to the services and resources of the University of Barcelona Library.

You can make purchases at the different sale points of the university bookstores, spread across the different UB campuses.

After registering for the subjects, temporary stay students have a personal space on the UB website where, in addition to having an email account, you can check your academic record.

Temporary students can obtain the UB Card to identify themselves as members of the university community and access various services and advantages. 

At the beginning of each semester, the Linguistic Services of the UB organize Catalan courses for temporary stay students.

Hispanic Studies, located on the Plaça Universitat Campus, organizes specific Spanish courses for exchange students. Partially subsidized price for participants in the Erasmus+ program.

Almost all faculties and university schools have restaurant and cafeteria services at affordable prices.

Esports UB, located at the end of the Diagonal Campus, is a large sports complex with a large number of facilities, a wide range of sports offerings and other services available to members of the University of Barcelona.

Temporary stay students have the possibility of enjoying the activities and facilities of Esports UB with a subscription fee adapted to the duration of your stay at the University of Barcelona.

Many centers of the University of Barcelona organize information sessions at the beginning of each semester for students of international exchange programs. Normally, the UB centers that organize these sessions let you know in the letter of acceptance at the University of Barcelona.

ESN (Erasmus Student Network) provides support to students temporarily staying at the UB and organizes recreational activities and other programs for exchange students to participate.
